On 23 September, Saudi Arabia marks its 96th National Day. For a house whose home is the Kingdom, this is not a date on a calendar — it is the day the ground beneath all our work celebrates. From everyone at the House of Ci: happy National Day.

There is a night each September when Riyadh changes color. The towers trade their whites and golds for green, flags run the length of the boulevards, and the city that spends all year building its future stops for one evening to look at how far it has come. A national day is, in its way, design at national scale — streets, skylines and stages all wearing one color, one story told by a million lights at once.

That is why this day means something particular to the house. The Kingdom is not a market to us; it is the ground floor of the whole building. Our studios draw for Riyadh’s skyline, our engineers answer to Saudi codes, our event teams build the stages where the country’s milestones are celebrated — and on the morning after every National Day, we go back to work on the very future the fireworks were about.
