From Expo 2030 to World Cup 2034.

For three days in November 2025, the French-Saudi Business Forum brought the ambitions of two countries into one hall at Riyadh Digital City. Business France asked the House of Ci to give the Forum its stage — the scenography, the booths, the visual identity. This is how it was made, phase by phase, from an empty ballroom to a foyer of light.

At a glance

The event: the French-Saudi Business Forum « From Expo 2030 to World Cup 2034 ». The dates: 23–25 November 2025. The venue: Riyadh Digital City, Riyadh. Under the banner of Business France and the Embassy of France in Saudi Arabia. The house’s scope: scenography, exhibition booths and visual identity — designed, engineered, fabricated and installed by one team. Art direction: Jane Jbara. Recognition: a letter of thanks from Business France, kept in full in the Journal.

Phase I · The Empty Room

Load-in day at Riyadh Digital City.

A ballroom with nothing in it but carpet and possibility; crews in yellow, trucks in the lobby, the first truss carried across the floor. Every stage has a morning like this — the house’s job is to make sure no one at the Forum ever imagines it.

Phase II · The Build

Two days measured in millimetres.

The stage rig rose under scaffold while the towers arrived in pieces — white legs converging in the foyer, panels fitted by hand, the colours of the Embassy of France going up beside them. Engineering measured in millimetres, so that three days of diplomacy could be measured in handshakes.

Phase III · The Light

Then the current went on.

The towers glowed blue, white and red on one face and Saudi green on the other; the branding wall carried the Forum’s name from Expo 2030 to World Cup 2034; the ballroom filled with chairs facing a screen that would soon carry two anthems. This was the room Business France wrote about.
